Books with Wings was created in memory of Sarah Holmes (1972-2009), who dedicated her life to helping children in need, and to her family and friends. Sarah began counselling children at a young age, and knew innately how to reassure those who needed her. She worked with high risk youth for many years in Toronto, and obtained a Master’s of Social Work from the University of Toronto in 2004. She is an inspiration to all of us. May her memory be kept alive in every book we send.
